In Person MeetUps = Info & FUN!

Wow!  We had a fantastic in-person get together last Saturday, June 4th. The gathering was a perfect storm of quantity and quality.  It was the exact right number of people for the space - about a dozen chairs with a few people who floated out early and a few others that floated in late.  I was intentional about facilitating in such a way that we had some “news” AND we all had a chance to hear a little bit about each person and start learning names. Each person was just so authentic, thoughtful, and curious. I asked for input and we heard some wonderful ideas - this was a smart, capable, and motivated group!  The meeting started at 9:30 and at 11:45 some of us were still chatting away!  
The “news’ takeaways are:

• Our next BIG trip will be, by popular demand . . . ICELAND!  There is a LOT of excitement about this destination and we can’t wait!
• It will be September 23-29, 2023.
• We need to grow the network and we will use the Iceland trip to leverage that effort.  Our goal is to book forty rooms - double or single occupancy - and to grow the network to 500 registered Travel Sisters.
• Our next in person meeting will be July 16th at the NC Museum of Art @9:30am.  For thirty minutes we will go on a stroll through the outdoor park, and then head into the air conditioning to grab a coffee / treat and continue the fun!  This will be a good chance to think about a “travel outfit” that you like AND involves comfortable footwear!  Extra credit if it involves pink, lol!  I’ll have my pink visor on so our group will be easy to find!
• It was suggested that we each bring a friend with us on the 16th - isn’t that a great idea and a concrete way to grow this network?!  

So grateful to ALL the women who are investing in this network with their presence, time and attention. Feeling a lot of hope heading into our first Travel Sister summer!
